Preparing ribeye steaks

There is no preparation for ribeye steaks per se, but when selecting the ribeye, look for ribeye steaks with generous marbling and bright red meat. Opt for thicker cuts (around 1.5 inches) to maintain juiciness and control the doneness.
You can season your ribeye steaks: Season the steak generously with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper on both sides.
Allow the steak to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to ensure even cooking.
