What to pair meatballs with?
Meatballs can be served with pasta (spaghetti and tomato sauce for instance), in a sub or in a stew with carrots, celery, onions, green beans and potatoes. I love serving fried meatballs with spicy couscous (and tomato sauce on the side).

Preparing meatballs
Making meatballs from scratch is easy and doesn’t require any fancy equipment. To make meatballs, you’ll need ground meat, breadcrumbs, eggs, seasonings, and any other ingredients you’d like to add, such as chopped onions, garlic, or herbs.
To prepare the meatballs, simply mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl until they are well combined (you can also use a food processor). Then, use your hands to roll the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
Meatballs are also available in most supermarkets, both fresh and frozen.

1. Heat some oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
2. Add the meatballs and cook for 8-9 minutes, or until browned on all sides and cooked through. If you want to cook your meatballs directly in tomato sauce, cook for 20 minutes stirring occasionnally.

1. Heat some oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
2. Add the meatballs and cook on high for 1 minute, then lower the gas mark and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes, or until browned on all sides and cooked through.

1. Preheat your oven to 360°F (180°C)
2. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, or until cooked through.

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). You don’t need to thaw your meatballs.
2. Place the frozen meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, or until cooked through.

1. Cut your veggies and cook them in water in a pot (10-15 minutes depending on how thick they are sliced)
2. Add the meatballs (and spices/beef stock) and cook for an extra 8-10 minutes.
You can thicken the sauce with cornstarch. Serve with pasta.
