1. Put 1 inch of water at the bottom of your pressure cooker, place the steamer basket above the water with the fresh green asparagus.
2. When the pressure valve starts spinning or whistling (so you know the cooking temperature/pressure has been reached), cook for 6 minutes (thin green asparagus) or 8 minutes (large green asparagus).
Tip: Once the cooking is finished, reduce the pressure quickly by running your pressure cooker under running cold water before removing the valve: this keeps your asparagus very green.
